AFT Subcommittees
Interested in a Subcommittee?
AFT thrives as an organization because of the generous contributions of time and talent from its members. One of the most consistent refrains the board hears is “How can I get involved?”, and we’ve established several opportunities to enhance the value of AFT to our fellow members.
The primary way that you can get involved is through participation in a subcommittee. Each subcommittee works directly alongside the board to bring excellence to specific areas of the association, and it’s also a great opportunity to build connections with fellow members.
If you are a member, please let us know which of these areas you have a particular talent, experience and/or interest in, and we’ll get you connected to opportunities to serve!
AFT Subcommittees
-
Member Experience
The Membership Experience subcommittee works with the board’s Membership and Marketing committee to ensure that new AFT members are welcomed into the organization and quickly get up to speed on how to get the most out of their participation, while also supporting existing members through content and opportunities to connect between summits. It does this through the VIP and Ambassador programs and by working with the Content Steering committee to share timely and relevant information with the members throughout the year.
-
Content Steering
The Content Steering subcommittee works alongside the Program Committee to curate and enhance the content presented at AFT's semi-annual summits. It ensures that the content aligns with the strategic objectives of AFT and provides significant value to attendees, fostering knowledge exchange and advancement within the financial technology industry.
-
Women in Fintech
The Women in Fintech subcommittee provides a forum for Women in FinTech to learn and grow professionally during our Fall Summits. This forum is designed to uplift and advocate for diversity in FinTech, and both the events and the subcommittee are open to members of every gender. This subcommittee also works with the Membership and Marketing committee to identify opportunities to increase inclusiveness.
-
Sponsorship
The Sponsorship subcommittee creates meaningful opportunities for our member companies to show their support of the organization through sponsorship of our semi-annual summits and other activities throughout the year. This subcommittee works closely with the AFT President and its Executive Director.
-
Speaker Relations
The Speaker Relations subcommittee partners with the Program Committee to ensure an exceptional experience for speakers participating in AFT's semi-annual summits. Its primary responsibility is to cultivate positive relationships with speakers, support them as they prepare to deliver high-quality presentations, and find meaningful ways to thank them for their contribution.
